Technologies easy to use Safe Cell Tab is offering protection from dangerous
electromagnetic fields and radiation produced by cell phones, cordless phones, pagers,
computers and laptops BIO: Mr. Steer: Safe Cell Tab is a small tab that affixes to about eleven or twelve different electrical apparatus such as cell phones, cordless phones, pagers, computers, laptops, intercoms, and anything that has electromagnetic fields coming out in excess of 300 megahertz. The cordless phone has now gone to 2,400 megahertz from 900. Some of the new cell phones are getting larger that 2000 and it goes on and on. According to the scientific world, the products should not exceed about 30-60 megahertz to be safe for us. There are products that dont meet those standards and along came Safe Cell Tab and it has been independently tested in five different tests, two in the SAR rating system and three in the American Society Testing of Materials system. We came out with a product that eliminates radiation; it actually shields it from 99.996 to .998 percent, which is a nice healthy, safe level. CEOCFOinterviews: Are there any other reports that you can tell us about? Mr. Steer: We were
fortunate to work with the California Institute of Technology in the Spring and Summer of
this year. We now have added their report further substantiating the great reports on our
product. Mr. Steer: It attaches within seconds; you just remove the tape off the back of the bonding material made by the 3M company. It attaches to the back of your cell phone and cordless phone, near the antenna. This is done in seconds and doesnt affect the clarity or reception. Frankly, we have found over the years that it increases the reception. You dont get the echoing and hollowing effect. In the addition to the elimination of the harmful radiation, we find that it significantly cools the phone down, especially after a conversation of three to five minutes. The Tab is very small, just 9/16ths by 11/16ths long. It is shaped in an oval design; it is an attractive little piece that attaches to your phone. CEOCFOinterviews: Does it wear out? Mr. Steer: No, it doesnt; it lasts a lifetime. Of course you are not going to stick to the same cordless phone or cellular phone, so when you remove it, because it is made of aluminum special ceramics and a shielding product invented by NASA, it must be removed by lifting it gently off your electrical apparatus by using a sharp knife or letter opener and peeling it off. Just before you stick it back on to your new phone or electrical apparatus, you just make sure the aluminum hasnt formed up. If the bonding glue is worn a bit, you can use a household glue to re-attach the Tab. CEOCFOinterviews: Are you actually selling these now? Mr. Steer: Yes, we are selling online with www.safecell.net. CEOCFOinterviews: Who is buying your product and how is business? Mr. Steer: We have been attending health shows, tradeshows, exhibitions, home shows and we have done very well these first couple of years. When we first became involved with this product we were focused doing testing required to make certain that we could substantiate the claims being made and the resulting benefits received by the end users. This would position us, in our opinion, uniquely at the head of this growing industry. We have been successful proving this out. In addition to the health, trade and home shows, our on-line sales are robust and increasing weekly. CEOCFOinterviews: Do you manufacture this yourself and do you have much inventory? Mr. Steer: We maintain a good stocking inventory and have the flexibility to increase product stores on a month to month basis as increase sales dictate. On our website, we say seven to ten days for delivery from the time that an order is placed. We manufacture offshore in Korea, where the NASA product has been manufactured for years. With a proprietary combination of (our) the NASA proven product and our special ceramics, we have come up with the Safe Cell Tab. CEOCFOinterviews: How do you encourage people to realize they need your product? Mr. Steer: Just about every week or so there are headlines coming out that point to the need for our product. I have heard the comment that brain tumors are up 600% in North America. The World Health Organizations general director announced that it was up 300% since 1998. With those types of headlines coming out, people start to become conscious of their health and they look for proven protection We have developed a strong grass roots following that is getting them word out. CEOCFOinterviews: Are you looking for other means of distribution besides the shows? Mr. Steer: We are looking for different channels that will fit into what we are doing. As a result of the recent announcement with respects to the successful testing of the Safe Cell Tab by the California Electronics Institute, we have received significant interest from a good number of individuals, organizations and companies looking to learn more about us and getting involved at some level. We encourage them all to contact us and we are certainly motivated to explore all channels of representation. CEOCFOinterviews: Is the United States the best market for you? Mr. Steer: The U.S. is a very good market for us; we have excellent results and North America is a big market. Offshore countries around the world are also very interested, especially European countries. Although all of our previous independent testing reports have been successful, the icing on the cake is the California Electronics Institute report, because it establishes proven performance by American standards, for the American market. Now the American market has become very active. CEOCFOinterviews: Will you tell us about the financial condition of the company? Mr. Steer: We are in the throws of looking at various options to raising monies and establishing financial health for the Company. Our aggressive plans for 2005 include a significant increase in product sales. Management believes we are well on our way to fulfilling our mandate. We think we have a good plan and as the plan unfolds, we will announce what we are doing. CEOCFOinterviews: What is the competition like? Mr. Steer: Milt Bowling is an executive director of the Radiation Task Force for HEALTH ACTION NETWORK, and he is a member of our advisory board. In March of 2002, Mr. Bowling attended a seminar in Montreal, Canada that featured 25 of the leading scientists on radiation and EMF. He had the opportunity to present to these distinguished scientists several of the earlier tests he and a colleague had performed with the Safe Cell Tab. Specifically, brain wave tests representing EMF exposure, illustrated empirically and graphically, with and without the use of the Tab. Suffice to say, this distinguished group of leading scientist became very excited at the real world results Safe Cell Tab produced. Milt presented each of them with a video of the tests, and those scientists have kept in constant communication with Milt and Safe Cell Tab. From a technology perspective and from a business sense, theses individuals send onto him anything new that comes out in terms of competition with the Safe Cell Tab. We critically look at all the competitors as they come in and we check to see what testing has been completed and from where. If they have an independent report, we thoroughly check it over to see what percentage of effectiveness they do in shielding; they must meet the 99.996 level in order to be considered safe and effective. As I stated earlier, it is our understanding that Safe Cell Tab is unique in that it has successfully completed independent testing in a recognized US testing facility. Therefore, to date, we dont classify other products in the Safe Cell Tabs category. Everybody likes good honest competition and I am not afraid of that. I enjoy good competition and if it comes. I am looking forward to the day that someone else has achieved the same results that we have in the independent reports, to substantiate that they are a good competitor. It will help clean up the Industry and I will respect that company for achieving a very difficult level of product performance. They will get their fair share of business and we will get ours. CEOCFOinterviews: Will you tell us about your background and what you bring to the table for Claremont Technologies? Mr. Steer: I started delivering newspapers, learned to be a good entrepreneur and moved up to having my own business of selling papers; then moving into the early years of marketing and sales in the lumber business. After being in the lumber business for many years, I decided to look into the public market. Since the 1990s, I have been involved with several other public companies. My background of fifty years within business has been well rounded and at a senior level. Now with Claremont Technologies, I am enjoying what I am doing because I bring the skills and experiences I have developed over those years, to work with me each and every day. CEOCFOinterviews: In closing, why should investors be interested and what should they know that they might not realize when they first look at the company? Mr. Steer: We are
a young company that has positioned its product as the industry leader, at a time when the
market place is experiencing a significant increase in public awareness of the risks
associated with EMFs. Our unique status of having a readily available consumer
product, fully substantiated by approved independent testing, places Claremont
Technologies at an advantageous position to meet this growing demand. We are building an
experienced management team that shares our vision of creating sustainable
shareholder value, byway of market penetration and complimentary acquisitions. Investors
should look at us on that basis. |
