Interview conducted by:

Lynn Fosse, Senior Editor, CEOCFO Magazine, Published – April 10, 2017

CEOCFO: Mr. Davi, would you tell us the concept behind Inventi and Hyperflow Technology?

Mr. Davi: Our concept is to invent technologies on a new scale, utilizing physics, which are not focused on linear improvements such as simply better engineering, or improved components. In our most recent product, Hyperflow Technology, we have designed a fundamentally new way of charging batteries which we refer to as “non-destructive rapid charging."

CEOCFO: How does it work?

Mr. Davi: Hyperflow utilizes the properties of magnetics to rapidly charge a battery to its ultimate state without causing damage to the battery. Battery chargers of today utilize brute force and/or pulse charging which degrades battery integrity and shortens the life of the battery. Our proprietary patented technology senses the battery's state magnetically and charges to the ultimate state gently while not degrading the battery or limiting its charge cycles.

CEOCFO: Has this been tried before?

Mr. Davi: It’s not that it hasn’t been tried before, it’s that it hasn’t been discovered before. We have been granted method patents for a method to use magnetics to charge batteries. Since a patent has to be novel to be issued, we are actually a new discovery.

CEOCFO: What gave you the idea?

Mr. Davi: The idea developed as a byproduct of research in the area of magnetics. It was clear as to the benefits it would have in the world of charging, and as a result, the Hyperflow Technology method of non-destructive rapid charging was born.

CEOCFO: What does the product look like?

Mr. Davi: It’s not unlike a standard charger, however, it’s much simpler and uses less components. Inventi is not in the business of building chargers, we are seeking alliances or partnerships with companies that would like to implement this amazing technology.

CEOCFO: How do you gain attention from the right people?

Mr. Davi: With interviews such as this, and by having a completely novel product that fulfills today's and tomorrow’s needs in the area of non-destructive rapid charging. A non-brute force solution to all of these battery fires we keep hearing about--- we sure hope they are paying attention!

CEOCFO: Are people still not thinking about the charger but only the battery?

Mr. Davi: Yes, we believe this is true. Everyone is focused on the next greatest battery chemistry with higher energy density. Only Inventi has discovered a fundamentally new charging method. Others have ignored the problem they are going to have about how to charge the next greatest battery. They are treating it like an afterthought. In our case we start with the charging, and the battery's performance just gets better!

CEOCFO: How do you handle the frustration of having something that works and a benefit to everyone but it is so hard to get attention?

Mr. Davi: What you just said is basically what I would call “the story of my life” for the past three years. Recently, we have had meetings with a local university, and I believe they will help us break through some of this frustration. I don’t think that anybody expects “the little guy” to come up with something so fundamentally important; everybody always says why hasn’t Company X or Company Y come up with this? The reality is somebody has to be first, and by the way, Company   X and Company Y have their own set of agendas and own set of issues so existing methods are acceptable to them. Magnetics is a lost art and there is a small population that is skilled in the art of magnetics. It is one of our inventor’s specialties. We have felt this frustration, that’s for sure!

CEOCFO: What do you need to keep going?

Mr. Davi: We need the proper alliances and strategic partnerships to bring this product to market. We need opportunities with strategic partners who want to solve today’s and tomorrow’s battery problems. We also need these companies to wake up and see the problem that even Dr, Goodenough, the inventor of the li-ion battery has said exists and focus on the charging part of the equation that has been sadly overlooked!

CEOCFO: I know that Walmart has a building devoted to looking at new products. Do the large tech companies have similar programs where you can submit ideas or might the concept be appropriated?

Mr. Davi: We are going to want NDAs and things like that to protect us but at the end of the day, the answer is yes. There are tradeshows, CES, Tech Crunch and all kinds of shows all over the country where you can have a booth and demo your technology. With funding I think that is probably our next step.

CEOCFO: Do you see a better opportunity in other areas of the world?

Mr. Davi: Unfortunately, yes we do. We have spoken to several large companies here in America who I have nothing but total respect for. They were quite arrogant to us and brushed us off. Now we are going to other countries and starting to talk to companies that are much more open and accepting to our new technology and the problems that it solves.

CEOCFO: Do you need to add people to your team with a different business background?

Mr. Davi: Yes we can always use more of the best and brightest people on our team! We are currently working with a local university to add more to the team and are looking forward to it!

CEOCFO: What should we see in the next year?

Mr. Davi: We hope to break through the frustration of getting our message out and create strategic alliances and partnerships for adoption of our new method of charging, allowing us to help eliminate yet another year of battery fires!

CEOCFO: What might be overlooked when first looking at HypHyperflow? Why is Inventi’s technology so important?

Mr. Davi: It may be perceived as just another method of charging instead of our discovery of magnetic sensing technology which our charger utilizes. We are important because we are pioneering fundamental technologies in the field of magnetics which in turn solve many problems with today’s outdated technologies.
