CEOCFOinterviews: Mr. Scott Swartz of Swartz Supply Company, please tell us a little about your business?

Mr. Schwartz:   “We are a kitchen and bath distributor with three locations in central Pennsylvania: Harrisburg, Lancaster and Allentown. We sell kitchens and bathrooms to builders and remodelers throughout the area, which is our primary business. In addition, we sell some retail kitchens and bathrooms.”

CEOCFOinterviews: How did you come to bank with Legacy?

Mr.Swartz: “Legacy approached us when they were first getting started about three years ago and we got to know George Groves, their Chairman and CEO, and some of the other people there at Legacy Bank quite well.”

CEOCFOinterviews: What is it that Legacy does that you weren’t finding at your old bank?

Mr. Swartz: “The first thing Legacy has provided people here in central Pennsylvania is  personalized service. In today’s banking world, with many large banks coming into the area, buying out other banks, you lose that personal relationship. Further, if you do develop that personal relationship, it seems to change in a matter of time. With Legacy, you see stability, people staying with Legacy and not ‘jumping ship.’ The quality of the service is superior and you can get an answer quickly; you can talk to the people you need to talk to almost immediately, if not immediately, to get an answer.”

CEOCFOinterviews: Do you take advantage of many of their services?

Mr.Swartz: “Yes, we do!”

CEOCFOinterviews: What would you say to people that are interested in changing to Legacy Bank or investing in Legacy Bank?

Mr. Swartz: “I think people would benefit greatly switching to Legacy Bank if they are dissatisfied with their current banking situation. With so many recent changes in the area here and with the bank buy-outs, I think if they are searching for that personalized service they can greatly benefit by seeking out Legacy Bank and establishing a relationship with them.”
