    CAMBRIDGE, England, March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeus Technology Limited, the acknowledged leader in mission-critical web server software and solutions, today announced the launch of Zeus Web Server(TM) version 4.1.
    Zeus Web Server(TM) version 4.1, now offers a service protection policy, providing a range of measures to protect web servers, web applications and back end infrastructures from denial of service attacks and web viruses such as Code Red and Nimda.  Zeus Web Server(TM) version 4.1 is the only web server to have such built-in protection, with connection counting and limiting to protect against server overload, and request filtering and checking to guard against known or malformed HTTP-based attacks.
    With particular emphasis on security, the new features in version 4.1 of the Zeus Web Server (TM) include the ability to remotely monitor the health of the server using SNMP.  They also allow easier and faster management of SSL client certificates, offering improved security through certificate revocation, allowing for better protection against the fraudulent use of lost or stolen certificates.   Security is further enhanced through increased stability against invalid HTTP and HTTPS requests.
    Dynamic content performance has been improved significantly, through improvements to the architecture of the NSAPI and ISAPI support.  Zeus Web Server now leads the world in dynamic, as well as static content delivery.
